Holy mother of god! Honestly where do I start with praise for these women? My first interaction was with Shilo, where I called her desperately trying to understand how to help my partner through an extremely quick decline into depression after the loss of his father.
Shilo was so ridiculously patient & thorough with her explanations at a time when I was drawing blanks & stressing out. She not only helped me understand the biochemical process (which is ABSOLUTELY NOT my forte) of this mental health issue but kept me from losing my head as well. Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body and is a vital component of connective tissue, hair, skin, nails, and bones.
From a macronutrient perspective collagen can provide histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, and valine and therefore only lacks tryptophan as the final essential amino acid.
Dose: Adult: 11g (1 level tablespoon) with 200ml water.
